Henkel October is the biggest plant in the middle east for liquid detergents. With its large capacity production line, this plant will serve Egyptians.
The water treatment plant final product did not meet the standard microbiological standard count. The factory searched for a solution for this problem before starting the production.
One of the suggested solutions was adding or dosing chlorine and removing it by sodium metabisulphite before reaching the mixing tank. Portsaid plant recommended IWTE to solve this problem. After working with Henkel technical team, IWTE recommended using Aquafine UV system; because it is the most effective and economical way to eliminate microbiological count without any effect on product quality.
Two systems were installed in August (CSL 6R and UV Logic 08AL20) to disinfect 1014 GPM of water daily.
It achieves the target eliminating microbiological count underproduction demand (below 10 CFU/ML).
Currently, the systems are functioning perfectly serving millions of Henkel customers.
